The New York Chapter of the Czechoslovak Society of Arts and Sciences (SVU NY) invites you to their YouTube channel to watch six events that you might have missed. The videos are divided into shorter segments for easier viewing.

Produced in 2016, Escaping from Czechoslovakia features dramatic stories shared by Czech and Slovak New Yorkers who broke through the Iron Curtain and escaped from communist Czechoslovakia.
POSEZENI: REMEMBERING NEW YORK’S “LITTLE BOHEMIA”
Posezeni: Remembering New York’s “Little Bohemia” (2018) was an entertaining evening of memories of four ‘old-timers’ who (have) lived in the "Little Bohemia" neighborhood on the Upper East Side. This event was a part of a series commemorating the 100th-year anniversary of the creation of Czechoslovakia in 1918.
6-MINUTE CHALLENGE
Brilliant young Czechs and Slovaks are featured in the popular series of short presentations 6-Minute Challenge. Check the November 2018 edition, with Stepanka Horalkova-Summer (ceramic artist, author), Vladimir Dzuro (UN Chief investigator), Roman Huszar (PhD candidate in neuroscience, NYU), Tom Kotik (sculptor, curator, musician), Jan Pecarka (visual artist), Marie Tomanova (photographer), and other talents.
