This internationally acclaimed touring choir from Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic is selected from over 350 children. Over the span of forty-three years, they have performed 2,800 concerts and have toured 785,000 miles around the globe. They have been awarded 36 First Prizes in international competitions from 1988 to 2022.
JITRO Choir's discography includes 39 CDs, some of them became bestsellers of the studio like with US recording company Navona Records in 2015.
Since 1977, Jiri Skopal has led the choir as Artistic Director and Principle Conductor winning high praise for his brilliant leadership. Pianist Michael Chrobák’s superb playing adds luster to the choir’s remarkable performances.
